Fun in the SNOW!!

Who knew a few hours could be so much fun and soooo cold!! You had to keep moving so your would really freeze to death. The kids had so much fun and could have stayed all day but I was frozen and had to call it on a count of frost bite.

Christmas Eve

As soon as the first snow comes, every time we head towards Spanish Fork the boys start asking if today is the day we get to make ginger bread houses? It is one of their favorite Christmas eve traditions.

SANTA

At Grandma and Grandpa Hill's annual kids Christmas Party. Santa came and spent time with all the kids. Even grandma and grandpa got a chance to sit on his lap. They wouldn't tell us what they asked for :)

Janessa really wanted a cell phone but decided to rethink her gift and changed to a ipod player.

Garett asked for a Nerf N360 Long Riffle, a new baskeball and shoes.

Gavin wanted a skate board, Nerf Gun, and a bow and arrow set.

They must have all been good kids because they all sure got spoiled.

After years of her mother bugging her. Nichelle finally decided it was time to finish up the last of her projects and earn her Young Womens Medalian. A mother could not be more proud. She is such an amazing girl. Far from perfect, but a wonderful, amazing fun young women. The world is in her hands.

Janessa turns 12!!

Finally, she has been more excited about this birthday than any other. Starting the day off with her favorite breakfast (bacon and muffins) then dad surprised her with pizza and balloons at lunch. Mom made Spaghetti (the old kind) and then lots of family and friends enjoyed her favorite filled cupcakes with her. The best part about turning 12 is going to Young Womens. She has been looking forward to this for years.

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. Between dressing up for school, our ward party and trick-or treating we got a lot of use out of our costumes this year. Everyone seemed to enjoy Halloween this year except Janessa. She was getting ready to turn the ripe old age of 12 so she was thinking she was a little to mature for dressing up. She spent the night watching moves with her friends (thus the reason for no pictures of her this year.) All the cute little trick-or-treater's were very disappointed when it was only me who answered the door and gave them a treat, with out being chased down the road by my crazy husband and his chainsaw. He had to work this year so it was very quiet around our house. (kinda boring)

Garett a scary vampire. For school we did the whole black hair and scary makeup with fake blood. He didn't really care for all of that stuff and wouldn't let me put it on him again. Kinda disappointing but not worth the fight.

Dad's big Buck

October wouldn't come soon enough. Since about August, the boys started asking "Is it October now" waiting for it to be time to go hunting with dad. Rhett with all his great hunting skills got a nice buck first thing opening morning. It made it a very positive fun experience for the boys first hunting with Dad.

Fall Break in Lake Powell??

Who would have thought that we would be playing in the water in the middle of October. The kids loved it. Gavin even tried knee boarding for the first time and as you can see by his picture he was pretty proud of himself.

First Date

After missing her whole sophomore year without going to any of the dances, she was excited and thrilled when she turned 16 and two weeks later was able to go to her first high school dance. A month later she went to homecoming at Lone Peak high school and then asked Kai to Sadie's.

Labor Day

Tyler surprised us by coming home for Jody's birthday and Labor Day. We were all so excited to see him. After the parade we headed to the park. Gavin and Garett wanted to get their faces painted. By the time we left the park Raquel, Janessa Tyler and Annie had all joined the fun.
